Mia attributes her experience in marketing and sales management, along with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration and a background in upscale hotel development to her real estate career with First Marin Realty.
Mia's experience in opening and managing a small local hotel with local developers has given her a clear understanding of what it takes to get a project done. Her experience in negotiating the best for her clients, whether a successful acceptance in a multi-offer situation or advising the best listing price in a challenging market, she has the experience to get the escrow closed. Mia has been actively involved in the Mill Valley community as a previous member of the Board of Directors of the Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce; she is a current PTA member and Park School parent, traffic committee chair and KIDDO member. The daughter of a local architect, Mia was raised in Mill Valley and attended local schools and is now raising her two children in Mill Valley, so she has that "local kid" background.
