Connie - Agent
Connie Mettier is a third generation San Franciscan and a fourth generation Californian. Her family arrived and settled in California in 1847 before California was a state, settling in Woodside where they felled redwoods and raised livestock. She is so enthusiastic about her California roots that Connie made sure her two sons were born in San Francisco as well. Being a native gives Connie a unique perspective on past and present Marin. When she was a child, she watched barges on San Francisco Bay take trains to the Tiburon Depot, at a time when few homes were on the Tiburon Peninsula. Her Grandparents bought a Belvedere home in 1937 for all of $6,000, a home that was enjoyed by the family for decades as a retreat from the San Francisco fog. Over time, she came to realize that real estate in Marin is a timeless investment. What may feel overpriced in Marin today has proven time and time again to be a legacy for tomorrow.
Along with Connie's unique perspective as a native, she comes to the real estate industry with a long history as an architectural illustrator and space planner, coupled with strong focus on interior design. Her architectural insights, combined with her savvy negotiation skills, provide a significant advantage for her clients.
